About Dota Recommender

Dota Recommender helps you discover Heroes that fit your style in Dota 2 using a tag-based recommendation system.

How recommendations work

Each Hero is described by a set of tags (for example: roles, playstyle traits, strengths, weaknesses, and patterns). Some tags matter more than others so tags have weights.

• Tag overlap: entities are compared by the tags they share.
• Weighted scoring: shared tags contribute points based on their weight (important tags count more).
• Ranking: results are ordered by the final score so the most similar / most relevant appear first.

• Search to jump directly to an Hero.
• Browse Heroes to explore options and learn their tags.
• Browse Tags to understand the traits driving recommendations.
